The Javelin was designed by Uffa Fox in early 60's and built by George Oday from the early 60's until Oday went out of business in the mid 80"s. During this time over 5000 Javelins were built. Although many changes were made to the Javelin over the years the basic hull design and sail plan remained the same, making it a favorite of one design racers.
